Online Enrollment Procedures

Student of the Month

Each teacher selects a student from any class that has demonstrated good character for the month. These students are treated to a pizza party!



Character Cards 

Each staff member is given character cards every month. These cards are to be given to students who are exhibiting good character such as:  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.  Those students receiving a character card will be able to turn them in for a free concession on Fridays!

Griffin Advisory Program

Students in GAP will meet throughout the year with an assigned teacher/advisor for structured activities that will help address their needs for personal development during middle school.  Some of these needs include:

  • Enforcing the Six Pillars of Character:  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness Caring and Citizenship
  • Adjusting to Middle School
  • Helping students understand themselves and their relationships
  • Improving students' communication, study, and test taking skills
  • Teaching students to participate responsibly in their school and community
  • Allowing students to explore educational and career goals.
